How to recover MBR (boot sector) in Windows7


Recover MBR (Master Boot Record) is not a difficult task. The necessity to recover the boot sector, we are damaging the sector's situation eg by compressing the system disk in Windows7 (yes it happens;). In such a situation when you reboot your computer,you get the message "system is not installed". Let's go for repair.
1.Start MBR recovery putting Win7 installation disc into the DVD drive.
We can easily found windows 7 recovery disc (its miniature version, along with the recovery console) by typing in Google:

- After rebooting the computer and boot from the installation (of course you must start the computer with a DVD drive and press the button to go to the installation) to select the regional settings, keyboard type, and go further
- Click on "Repair Your Computer" or type r
- Wait until the next window appears, where we choose the command line (Command Prompt)
- Write bootrec.exe / fixmbr. After a moment, press enter and after a reboot we see the bootloader screen to choose the operating system :)

If the above method does not work we must again go through the above steps until your command line.
- Type bootsect / nt60 c:\ (c:\ this is our system partition if you have installed the system on c:), hit enter and restart your computer
- If the above command does not work again go through all the steps and enter bootsect / nt60 SYS, enter and restart
- If the above does not work this time prompt, type bootsect / nt60 ALL, enter and restart
This all folks, of course, remember to remove the DVD media before You restart computer :).
